Dr. Andrisani has returned to Wilmington to serve his hometown community. Following his passion for athletics, he completed a fellowship in sports medicine.
Dr. Andrisani is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, has additional certification in Sports Medicine, and specializes in:

Arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee
Reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, knee, and elbow
Fracture management
Dr. Andrisani is an alumnus of Archmere Academy and the University of Delaware, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. Upon completing a general surgery internship and a four-year orthopaedic surgery residency at Wright State University in Dayton, OH, Dr. Andrisani returned home and completed fellowship training in the field of sports medicine at Cooper, Lankenau, and Thomas Jefferson University hospitals.
Dr. Andrisani works with the Wilmington Blue Rocks, the University of Delaware and local high schools. He has worked with the Philadelphia Phillies, Wings, Soul, and St. Joseph’s University. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
